A perfect shot from more than 15 meters was all it took to destroy a valuable camera located in a conflict ridden neighborhood of Hatillo 5 recently. Up until the fateful shot the camera had been extremely useful for authorities in bringing charges against multiple low level drug dealers in the area.
Marcelo Solano, Director of the Municipal Police of San Jose stated that he wasn’t sure how many shots were fired but at least one hit their mark and put the camera out of service permanently.
As of this moment the camera has not been replaced and local drug dealers continue to operate without fear of the Big Brother watching them from above.
