According to INS, the price increase is due to a 17% rise in motorcycle related accidents from the previous year. The rise in cost will affect over 300,000 bike owners in Costa Rica, many of which are expected to be dead before next year’s Marchamo rates are even announced due to reckless driving and poor road etiquette

Maybe Motorcycles should have Warning Labels

The protest, which according to our sources on Facebook will be made up almost entirely of Chatas, will take place in front of the main INS offices in the San Jose downtown area.

Any of our readers planning on using the sidewalks this morning are urged to keep an eye out for jerks leaving the protest, as they will probably in too big of a hurry to keep an eye out for you.
